UNPAID WORKERS
We are a small group which relies on volunteer
support, and we are always interested in
encouraging women to join our group.
Working with Women's Aid can be fruitful;tiring;
challenging; fun; frustrating;productive; stressful
and rewarding.
Unpaid Workers can be involved in all aspects of our work
- General support work; counselling; befriending
- Accompanying Refuge residents on outings
- Carrying out repairs in the Refuge
- Encouraging and facilitating children and young people's activities
- General admin; office cover; fund-raising
- Attending training / conferences
- Training other workers
- Campaigning / publicity work
- National work through sub groups
To anyone who can give a regular commitment
we offer:
